Cookie Policy

Last updated May 8, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how EcoHash Technology LLC (“EcoHash,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the EcoHash public website (the “Website”). It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data more broadly across our Services.

This Policy covers the Website only. The EcoHash console, documentation site, and APIs are operated separately and may use their own cookies and storage; please review the notices, settings, or documentation presented within those products.

1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device to remember information about your visit. Similar technologies include browser storage mechanisms such as localStorage and sessionStorage, pixels, and tracking tags. For simplicity, this Policy uses the word “cookies” to refer to all of these technologies.

Cookies can be set by us (first-party cookies) or by third parties whose services we embed in the Website (third-party cookies). They can last only for a single browsing session (session cookies) or persist on your device until they expire or you delete them (persistent cookies).

2. Categories of Cookies We Use

We group cookies into the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the Website to load and function correctly, to remember basic preferences you have set, and to keep the site secure. These do not require your consent.
  • Functional — remember choices you make (such as language or display preferences) to improve your experience. Where applicable law requires consent for these, we will only set them after you opt in.
  • Analytics / performance — help us understand how visitors use the Website in aggregate so we can improve content and performance. Where applicable law requires consent, we will only set them after you opt in.
  • Marketing / advertising — used to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and, where applicable, to deliver more relevant content. Where applicable law requires consent, we will only set them after you opt in.

3. Cookies and Storage Currently in Use on This Website

The list below reflects what is in use as of the “Last updated” date above. We update this list when we add, remove, or change cookies. If you observe a cookie or storage item not listed here, please contact us at info@ecohash.com.

We do not currently load analytics, advertising, or social-media tracking cookies on this Website. If we add any in the future, we will update this Policy and, where required by law, obtain your consent through a cookie banner before they are set.

4. Your Choices

You can control cookies in several ways:

  • Browser settings — most browsers let you view, manage, block, or delete cookies, and control browser storage. Refer to your browser’s help documentation (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, and others) for instructions. Blocking strictly necessary items may break parts of the Website.
  • Cookie banner — when we deploy non-essential cookies on the Website, we will present a consent banner that lets you accept, reject, or customize categories and change your choice at any time.
  • Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control — there is no industry-wide standard for how websites should respond to “Do Not Track (DNT)” signals, and we do not currently respond to DNT signals. Where the applicable law recognizes Global Privacy Control (GPC) as a valid opt-out for the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, we will honor GPC signals accordingly to the extent required by applicable law.

5. Third-party Cookies

If we embed content or services from third parties (for example, video players, code embeds, or support widgets), those third parties may set their own cookies. We do not control those cookies; you should review the third party’s privacy and cookie notices for details on how they use information they collect.

6. International Users

If you visit the Website from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on your consent for any cookies that are not strictly necessary, in line with the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive or applicable local rules implementing or supplementing those laws. If you are in California, see the “Your Rights” section of our Privacy Policy for information about your CCPA/CPRA rights, including the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use, the Website, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where required by law or otherwise appropriate, give additional notice.

8. Contact Us

Questions about this Cookie Policy or our use of cookies should be sent to info@ecohash.com (please include “Cookie inquiry” in the subject line) or via our Contact page.
